CCC Information Services Inc. and SCA Appraisal Company Align in Developing Integrated Web Service Solutions
CHICAGO, Oct. 27, 2006 -- CCC Information Services Inc. and SCA Appraisal Company have signed a letter of intent to develop a web service interface between SCA and the CCC Autoverse(R) Claims Services Network, allowing CCC and SCA to seamlessly integrate through a framework of Web service interfaces. This allows the exchange of critical assignment data, messages, estimates, images and other documentation in a single electronic location. SCA material damage appraisal clients will be able to receive real-time messaging and assignment status, enhancing the auto claims process to the benefit of insurers, collision repairers and vehicle owners.
This new interface will complement the existing interface SCA has in place with the ProcessClaims solution. CCC acquired ProcessClaims in May of this year.
