*EPA Announces Renewable Fuels Program - SmartWay Grow & Go*

(Washington, D.C. - Oct. 25, 2006) U.S. EPA Administrator Stephen L. Johnson will announce the SmartWay Grow & Go program, which promotes the environmental benefits of renewable fuels. 

 

*WHO:*               EPA Administrator Stephen L. Johnson 

                       U.S. Department of Agriculture Secretary Mike Johanns 

                       Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels 

 

*WHAT: *           EPA is currently working with various industry sectors under the SmartWay Transport Partnership to help establish incentives for fuel efficiency improvements and to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. SmartWay Grow & Go is an expansion of the SmartWay Transport Partnership that focuses on promoting the environmental benefits of renewable fuels.
