David Stremme, No. 40 Coors Light Dodge Race Advance

Bass Pro Shops 500 - Atlanta Motor Speedway

No. 40 TEAM FACTS:

* Making Strides: Rookie David Stremme has made considerable
strides in his 30 NEXTEL Cup Series starts this season. His
average-starting spot the first 15 starts of the season was 29th and his
average finish was 31st. His highest start was fourth at Darlington and
his highest finish was 19th at Michigan. In the last 15 starts, he has
improved to a 23rd starting and finishing average and his highest start
was third at the July Daytona race and his highest finish was 11th at
Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

* Rockin Rookie: Two weekends ago in Charlotte, Stremme battled
for 334 laps to bring home his second-highest finish of the season,
15th. His top-15 finish also won him the Raybestos Rookie of the Race
Award for the first time this season. Last weekend in Martinsville,
Stremme was the second-highest rookie finisher with his second
consecutive 15th-place finish.

* Chassis: Crew Chief Steve Lane and the No. 40 crew are taking
chassis No. 606 for the event this weekend. This is the second time
this season that Stremme will pilot this car. The first time was at
Charlotte two weeks ago where he piloted the No.40 Dodge to a 15th-place
finish. This car is out of Stremme's teammate Reed Sorenson's stable.
Sorenson piloted this car to a 13th, 10th, fifth and 26th-place finish
at Texas, Charlotte, the first Michigan and second Pocono races
respectively.

* Earlier this Season: Back in March, after sitting around in the
rain for hours on Sunday afternoon, Stremme took the checkered flag on
Monday in the 33rd spot. The handling of the Coors Light Dodge coupled
with a slight vibration forced Stremme to pit under green, which
eventually resulted in a 33rd-place finish.

* Atlanta Action: This will be Stremme's fifth start at Atlanta
Motor Speedway. He averages a 30th-place starting spot but improves
greatly over the course of the race as his average finish is 17th. His
highest start and finish at the 1.54-mile track was in 2004 in the Busch
Series event, when he started 11th and finished eighth.

* Rookie Ranks: Stremme is currently sixth in the Raybestos
Rookie of the Year standings. With 157 points, he is 120 points behind
leader Denny Hamlin and only 24 points behind fifth-place J.J Yeley.

* NASCAR NEXTEL Cup points standings: Stremme is currently 34th
in the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup driver standings and the No. 40 Dodge is 34th
in the owner standings. There are now four races remaining in the 2006
season.

David Stremme Quote:

"The Coors Light team is coming off two solid finishes at Charlotte and
Martinsville. We had a strong car, stayed out of trouble and had good
pit stops that allowed us to finish 15th in both races. I am really
proud of my guys and I feel good about going to Atlanta Motor Speedway
this weekend. We are taking the same car we had in Charlotte and it is
a car that my teammate Reed Sorenson has raced several times this year
and also finished well in. I just hope we can continue to run strong
this weekend and bring home another top-15 finish in the Coors Light
Dodge."
