Cadre Technologies Announces New Senior Executives
Executive Appointments Position Cadre to Accelerate Growth in 3rd P Party Logistics and Supply Chain Software Industry
DENVER, Oct. 24 -- Cadre Technologies, the leading innovator in warehouse management and supply chain technology, announced today that Chris Scherpenseel has been appointed CEO of the company. The company also announced the appointment of Charles (Charlie) Cape to a new position as vice president of professional services.
Scherpenseel and Cape were selected to help build upon the momentum Cadre has realized since completing the merger with the LDS Corporation earlier this year and to take the company to the next level.
"As a founder and director of the company, I believe this change positions us to build upon the success that we worked so hard to achieve since we started Cadre," said Joe Peters, Cadre's president. "We are extremely fortunate to have two executives of Chris' and Charlie's caliber join our company."
Scherpenseel brings more than 20 years of senior management experience in software development, information technologies and network integration industries. For the past eight years he was president of FRx Software Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Microsoft. He previously held senior management positions at FRx, including chief operating officer and vice president of customer services. Prior to FRx, his experience includes executive and financial management positions for database software development and data processing firms.
Scherpenseel earned his Bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Colorado and Master's degree in finance from Colorado State University. He is a licensed CPA and fellow member of both the American Institute of CPAs and Colorado Society of CPAs.
"Cadre has been built on a very solid foundation, with considerable, forward looking vision," explained Scherpenseel. "We eagerly anticipate building upon that foundation to fulfill the vision of a world-class leader in supply-chain execution software."
Cape has worked with global leaders in logistics, manufacturing, software and banking industries for more than 30 years, most recently as Global Program Director at DHL Logistics; and chief information officer at Exel Logistics. He led the IT merger integration of DHL and Exel to help create the number one provider of air, ocean freight and contract logistics in the world. Cape was also manager of applications support at Electrolux and product manager at JD Edwards. He earned his bachelor degree at Ohio State University, Master's Degree in Management from Webster University and a Ph.D. in Organization and Management from Capella University.
