American Concours Foundation Announces Eight Classic Automobiles Will Be Sold for Charity on eBay Motors

LAS VEGAS--The American Concours Foundation today announced that eight classic automobiles will be sold on eBay Motors with a portion of the proceeds benefiting local Las Vegas charities. Sold separately, each automobile will be showcased live as a part of a special charity event at the Concours d'Elegance Las Vegas October, 24, 2006 at the TPC the Canyons PGA Tour Facility.

This collection of timeless, premium automobiles will bring wide appeal to collectors worldwide, said Elaine Sherer, Founder and Executive Director of the Concours dElegance Las Vegas. We have worked closely with the American Concours Foundation and eBay Motors on this program and it is most satisfying knowing that we are assisting local charitable organizations in the process.

1956 Mercedes-Benz : SL-Class 190SL

1954 Jaguar : XK 120 DHC

Additionally, the Concours will feature time-honored automobiles including featured marque Mustang, along with Maybach, Ruxton, Knox and Pierce Arrrow from the Nethercutt Collection. Also featured is one of the rarest Duesenbergs in the world from the Imperial Palace Auto Collection and Bing Crosbys left-hand drive Aston Martin courtesy of Unique Movie Cars. Special features include an Automotive Art Exhibit and the anticipated arrival of 16 Lancia cars ranging from oldest to newest that started their tour in Italy. Now touring the United States along Route 66, they will roll into the concours at noon on Sunday.
