Media Advisory: Chrysler Financial Volunteers to Refurbish Children's Center in Yonkers, NY

  WHAT:  The Julia Dyckman Andrus Memorial is a private, non-profit
         community agency that provides assessment, treatment, education and
         preventive services for children and their families in residential,
         day and other restorative programs. The Mission is to serve
         children and families, without regard to background or financial
         status, who have or are at risk for developing behavioral health
         problems. Originally founded as an orphanage for needy youngsters,
         Andrus serves more than 140 seriously emotionally disturbed
         children, grades K-9, in three treatment programs and a Blue Ribbon
         school on its lovely, 110-acre campus.

  THURSDAY ACTIVITY:  The youngest of Andrus' children -- all under 10 --
                      live, learn and play in a "cottage" that is actually a
                      large house.  Thirteen children can be accommodated
                      here, not only for living and recreational purposes
                      but also for education and therapy as it is vital to
                      create an environment that minimizes change for these
                      children.

                      40 Chrysler Financial Services employees from the
                      Northeast Business Center in Pearl River, NY will be
                      volunteering their time on Thursday to update and
                      paint the cottage, with its six bedrooms, three
                      bathrooms, two classrooms, living/play areas, a dining
                      room, kitchen and other spaces.
