T3 Motion Awards the First T3 Series Intended for Armed Forces Use to the United States Naval Amphibious Base Little Creek

The T3 Series Three-Wheeled, Battery Powered Unit Answers the Immediate Need for Added Technology to Increase Safety, Security and Mobility Throughout the Nation

BOSTON, Oct. 18 -- With homeland defense top of mind for millions of Americans, Southern California-based company T3 Motion is proud to announce today their latest efforts at improving our nation's security. At ceremonies held yesterday, the Naval Amphibious Base Little Creek, Virginia Beach, Va., was awarded an all-new T3 Series in conjunction with the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP). A $7,800 value, the T3 Series is the most advanced personal mobility vehicle of its kind and is anticipated to be a perfect fit for the 12,000 acre facility, known as one of the most innovative and resourceful Military bases in the country.

The winner was randomly selected from a group of qualified candidates competing in the 2006 National Law Enforcement Challenge. The Challenge, created by the IACP, is designed to recognize and reward law enforcement agencies with the best overall traffic safety programs.

"We are pleased to deliver the first unit to the Naval Amphibious Base Little Creek, and are confident the officers will find the T3 Series an immediate solution to their mobility needs," says T3 Motion President Neil Brooker. "As the largest base of its kind on the East Coast, the T3 Series offers a smart, safe and efficient way to add technology to its operating forces."

Operating at only 10 cents a day, the T3 Series is economical and requires little to no maintenance. The unit is powered by two rechargeable, lightweight batteries that can be easily swapped out in the field for continual use and an unlimited range.

"The area lining the harbor is a heavily patrolled part of the base and this type of vehicle can be the perfect compliment to our daily efforts there," says base Security Officer John Stamberger. "We are extremely excited to be the first Military organization to utilize the advanced technology of the T3 Series."
