Liquid Motors' New Services Let Dealers Choose How They Want to Sell Vehicles; Company Also Introduces New Software Upgrades That Improve Selling Efficiency
DALLAS, Oct. 16, 2006 -- Liquid Motors, a service provider for franchise and independent automobile dealerships, is now giving dealers an unprecedented amount of control over their eBay Motors sales. Liquid Motors' new offerings include three different levels of service -- self service, listing only and full service -- that will enable dealers to have as much, or as little involvement in their eBay Motors sales as they want. The company is also introducing software upgrades that will improve a dealer's efficiency on eBay Motors.
"Liquid Motors has always been dedicated to enhancing dealerships' online auto sales, and until recently, we took that completely upon ourselves," said Michael Daseke, president and CEO for Liquid Motors. "Now, with three service offerings, dealers can choose how much involvement they have in the process. Dealers can handle everything, they can let us take some of the more tedious work or they can just sit back and let us take care of everything. The important thing is that dealers get to make that decision."
The new self service offering provides dealerships with everything they need to sell on eBay Motors for a monthly fee, giving dealers complete control over their eBay Motors sales. The listing only service also enables dealers to list their own cars online, but Liquid Motors will "do the legwork" of taking the necessary amount of photos for each car and will also build the listings and make proactive recommendations on listings. The full-service offering lets Liquid Motors handle each aspect of listing on eBay Motors, from the photography, building the listings and assisting the dealer with managing the listings and communications with prospects -- meaning Liquid Motors does the work while the dealership reaps the benefits.
New software enhancements will increase dealer efficiency and assist dealers with closing deals. A new lead management module tracks auction activity, lets dealers know when to contact leads and creates a history of all communications. The modules also keep track of what these particular leads are looking for and will automatically notify the dealer should the car become available. In addition, the software has been upgraded to include more relevant data about each vehicle -- including the sub model, the trim and the body style -- and dealers can customize the software by setting defaults and other preferences.
"By implementing these software upgrades, we've made the software even more user-friendly and more efficient at locating and matching data," Daseke said. "And in the end, that's what's going to help dealers to be successful."
