Modine Announces New Chief Information Officer, Yomi Famurewa
RACINE, Wis.--Modine Manufacturing Company , a global leader in developing thermal management technologies and solutions announced today that Yomi A. Famurewa, 48, has joined the company as its Chief Information Officer, reporting to Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Bradley Richardson.
Famurewa, an executive with more than 23 years of experience in Information Technology at a wide array of manufacturing companies, will lead Modine’s global IT function, including developing overall IT strategy to align processes with business goals, creating governance roadmaps, rationalizing vendor platforms, creating IT business measurements, championing continuous improvements and collaborating with other industry IT leaders.

He has spent his career changing the focus of Information Technology at Fortune 500 companies, from a technology provider, to a strategic business partner within the company. Famurewa was most recently the Chief Information Officer at Keego Technologies, in Detroit Michigan, where he was consulting with Fortune 500 companies to assist Chief Information Officers with IT strategy roadmaps as a tool to align business units with company objectives. His projects also included thought leadership on IT Value Matrix and creating IT governance roadmaps.
Prior to that, Famurewa worked as Vice President, Supply Chain & Design at Arvin Meritor, Inc., an $8 billion global supplier of integrated systems in Troy, Michigan. Famurewa championed the development of common product development and supply chain processes and led the corporate-wide implementation, through cross-functional teams. Previously in his career, Famurewa held IT positions at Rockwell Corporation, Alliedsignal, Inc., (now Honeywell International) and Kelsey-Hayes Company.
Famurewa, a native of Nigeria, holds a bachelor’s of science degree in electrical engineering, from University of Ife, in Ife, Nigeria, and a master’s of science degree in industrial technology, from Eastern Michigan University, in Ypsilanti, Michigan. He is also a graduate of the Executive Program of the University of Michigan, School of Business. Famurewa and his family will be relocating to the Racine area this fall.
