Autobytel Inc. Named One of Orange County’s 'Fast 50' Technology Companies by Deloitte and Touche for Eighth Straight Year

IRVINE, Calif.--Autobytel Inc. , a leading automotive Internet marketing services company, has been named to Deloitte and Touches prestigious Technology Fast 50 Program for Orange County, a ranking of technology, media, telecommunications and life sciences companies in the area by Deloitte & Touche USA LLP, one of the nations leading professional services organizations.

This years Orange County Technology Fast 50 program is co-presented by Deloitte & Touche USA LLP and Porsche Motorsport, Continental Airlines, DLD Insurance, McDermott & Bull, Comerica, Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth, Cresa Partners and Merrill Corporation, in association with AeA and the Technology Council of Southern California.

This marks the eighth consecutive year that Autobytel has been named to the Technology Fast 50, which is a great honor, said Autobytel Inc. President and CEO Jim Riesenbach. Were proud to be among the leaders in one of the most vibrant economic communities in the nation.

To qualify for the Technology Fast 50, companies must have had operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 2001 and $5,000,000 in 2005, be headquartered in North America, and be a company that owns proprietary technology or proprietary intellectual property that contributes to a significant portion of the companys operating revenues; or devotes a significant proportion of revenues to the research and development of technology. Rankings are based on the percentage revenue growth over five years from 20012005. Using other companies technology or intellectual property in a unique way does not qualify.

Winners of the 16 regional Technology Fast 50 programs in the United States and Canada are automatically entered in Deloittes Technology Fast 500 program, which ranks North Americas top 500 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications and life sciences companies.
