GEICO and Mike Wallace Back Together for the 2007 NASCAR Busch Series

CONCORD, N.C., Oct. 13, 2006 -- Mike Wallace, veteran NASCAR driver, will team with GEICO for the 2007 NASCAR Busch Series racing season that begins in February. Wallace will pilot the #7 GEICO Chevrolet and will remain with Phoenix Racing for the next three seasons.

Wallace now races behind the wheel of the #1 Miccosukee Gaming & Resorts Dodge for Phoenix Racing in the current NASCAR Busch Series. Phoenix Racing and Wallace have had considerable success together and they are looking to put the GEICO car up front in the NASCAR Busch Series.

Wallace indicated he was very pleased to be reuniting with GEICO. "We had a great relationship during our previous racing partnership and we had success both on and off the race track. I'm looking forward to being involved with GEICO away from the track and producing good finishes on the track. I am thankful for this opportunity."

In regard to Phoenix Racing, Wallace said, "I've driven part-time for Phoenix Racing over the past couple years in both the Nextel Cup Series and the Busch Series and we always run well together. I enjoy working with James Finch, Marc Reno and the entire Phoenix Racing team and they always give me a great car that allows us to be really competitive."
