Media Panel To Give Publicity Advice at New Enterprise Forum Event

ANN ARBOR, Mich., Oct. 13, 2006 -- New Enterprise Forum will feature three media panelists during its next program, called "Risks and Returns: Working with the Press." The event takes place on Thursday, October 19 at the Holiday Inn North Campus on 3600 Plymouth Road in Ann Arbor.

The panel discussion will provide information on how entrepreneurs and small businesses should pitch their stories and make the headlines. The following experts will answer audience questions:

* Lucy Ann Lance, Radio Talk Show Hostess on WAAM 1600 AM - Her morning show, "Lucy Ann Lance in the Morning" runs daily from 6 to 9 a.m. She features topical and newsworthy programs, and she encourages listener comments and interaction.

* Andy Chapelle, Editor of Business Review Ann Arbor - He has more than 23 years of experience in newspaper reporting and management, including the Ann Arbor News. He served on the board of directors for the Associated Press Managing Editors Association. He's been part of numerous award winning editorial projects.

* Mike Isopi, Senior Account Executive of PR Newswire - Detroit Bureau - In addition to managing accounts, he is an automotive market communications specialist. He is PR Newswire's primary liaison with automotive trade associations, industry groups and trade show organizers. Isopi joined PR Newswire in 1992 and has extensive knowledge of the media.

During each meeting, NEF provides 10 minutes to an emerging company for a Showcase Presentation. This time, both Creative Byline and Rapid BioSense will feature about their companies.
