(Oct. 12, 2006) - New Rule Productions today announced the availability of a DVD of the first season of the popular ESPN2 reality show, American Dragster, featuring Ron Capps, driver of the Brut Revolution Dodge Funny Car, and Top Fuel champion Tony Schumacher, in the U.S. Army Top Fuel dragster. This DVD features the complete 2005 season of these drivers each fighting for a championship in their respective categories and includes all the tense, exciting and dramatic moments and behind-the-scenes footage, both on and off the track. At the bottom of the track, there's no music, no sound effects, and it's a real eye-opener as to what it's really like. "When you watch it on the ESPN coverage there's all kinds of pomp and circumstance, and it's always interesting to see how these things really happen. On the DVD you just hear Tony talking, a few people clapping and the crew guys in the background tearing the shrouds off the dragster. True behind-the-scenes action. "We also unloaded our digital still camera thatıs been with us on all of the shows and put together a behind-the-scenes photo montage that has some great images of the teams as well as some of the crew that make American Dragster happen."
