Winnebago Industries Announces Election of Randy J. Potts to Position of Vice President, Manufacturing

FOREST CITY, Iowa--Winnebago Industries, Inc. , announced that in a meeting held today, the Board of Directors elected Randy J. Potts to the position of Vice President, Manufacturing.

In his new position, Potts, 47, will be responsible for the ongoing management of Winnebago Industries manufacturing operations. He will oversee all production, production/inventory control, maintenance services, warehousing, manufacturing engineering and tooling areas of the Company and report to Bob Olson, Senior Vice President of Operations.

A 23 year veteran of Winnebago Industries, Potts most recently served as Director of Manufacturing. Previously, he served as general manager of manufacturing services, various other engineering and supervisor positions for the Company.

Randy has developed a solid background in manufacturing management in his long tenure with Winnebago Industries, said Winnebago Industries President Ed Barker. As director of manufacturing, he and his staff have continued to make visible improvements in the manufacturing environment, adjusting to challenging market conditions, further contributing to Winnebago Industries leadership role in the motor home industry.

Potts is a graduate of Hawkeye Institute of Technology in Waterloo, Iowa.
