Casey Wyatt moving Up to the NASCAR Busch Grand National Division for 2007

Newport News, VA October 11, 2006; After another successful NASCAR Dodge Weekly series season Wayne Wyatt, owner of Wyatt Motorsports LLC felt it is time for their 22-year-old driver Casey Wyatt to take the next step in his racing career. Casey has accomplished the goals needed at the Weekly Series level to further his career to the NASCAR Regional Touring Series. Today, established teams look for drivers that can adapt to different styles of cars on different types of tracks. This move will prove the Casey and the Team are ready to make that adaptation.

Casey has his sights set on the NASCAR Busch Grand National East Series for the 2007 season. He is also negotiating with sponsors and teams to run selected ARCA races.

Wyatt states that "Casey and I along with key members of our team will be in Charlotte the next couple of weeks talking to top teams and looking at the latest equipment". Casey's talent, young age, outstanding racing resume, knowledge of current car technologies and his ability to work with sponsors is a combination that has generated interest in some select teams that have a Driver Development Program.

Even though we are talking to some top teams we are going forward with plans to run in the Busch East Series with our own team and cars in case nothing materializes. Many drivers have driven in the Busch North, now Grand National East division to gain the experience and exposure needed to move into the top three series of NASCAR.

Wyatt Motorsports has hired Robert Israelite of Grant, Florida as the Director of Marketing for the team. Wyatt stated that "Bob will be a very valuable asset to our team in securing funding to insure that we will compete with top notch equipment. Bob has a broad knowledge of working with sponsors to form creative co-marketing packages for their companies so they will receive the full benefit of being involved with our team".

Christina Wyatt-Ward will handle many duties. She will be in charge of At Track Promotions, Press Releases, Team Statistics, Updating and Development of Current Web Site, and Travel Arrangements for the team.

Wyatt is glad to announce that current crew chief; Sam Gaita will remain with the team. Sam has taken our team to the next level this year. He and Casey have a great chemistry and built a solid understanding of what Casey needs when setting up the car. Gaita's successful background includes; Crew Chief positions in NASCAR Sportsman and Craftsman Truck Series, along with the USAR Hooters Pro Cup Series. Gaita comments that "Working with Casey has made this job most enjoyable. Casey has a natural feel for the car and his understanding of the dynamics of the car makes it easy when we make decisions on adjustments".

Tire Specialist, Dave Plevel who has been with the team 9 years along with Team Mechanic T H Paynter, will also make the move up with the team next season.
