OSCAAR's 2006 season is winding down and the excitement is building as
the Outlaw Super Late Models head to Ontario's biggest stock car event
of the year, the 14th Annual Autumn Colours Classic at Peterborough
Speedway <http://peterboroughspeedway.com/>, this weekend, October 6th,
7th and 8th!

John Fletcher will make his 200th stock car start and in doing so may
lock up the 2006 OSCAAR Outlaw Super Late Model Series Title with a
finish of 21st or better. After back to back runner up spots for the
OSCAAR Championship, Team JNE is now only a start away from capturing
their first OSCAAR Title. Marking this milestone start will also be the
goal to capture John's 40th win as well, 199 starts along with 39 wins
and a title on the line, there would not be a better race track to do it
then Peterborough Speedway, the very track John started his first Super
Late Model event.

Peterborough Speedway seems to mark many firsts for OSCAAR competitors.
At OSCAAR's most recent visit to Peterborough Speedway on September
16th, TJ Woolsey captured his first OSCAAR feature win, as he claimed
victory in the prestigious 8th Annual Don Biederman Memorial Event. You
can be sure that TJ is pumped and ready to challenge Fletcher for the
Autumn Colours Classic Victory.

With the 2006 season nearly to an end, there are some serious point
battles developing, and fans can be assured that the racing will be fast
and furious as teams fight for their bragging rights amongst the top
ten. A small margin of 85 points separates Glenn Watson, Phil Bullen and
Drew Spicer. All three teams have had a season to be proud of, creating
some thrilling outlaw action since the start of the 2006 season. Watson,
Bullen and Spicer have yet to achieve a feature win in 2006, but don't
be surprised if they are victorious on Sunday afternoon!

A very slim spread of 14 points exists between Lloyd Ritchie, Ken
Hayward, Ed Bowlby and Roy Passer. Who can forget that Lloyd Ritchie
lead the first 69 laps of the Don Biederman Memorial Event on Sept.
16th. This team would love nothing better than to find themselves in
victory for their first time ever at Peterborough Speedway!

No matter how you cut it, this weekend's feature event at the Autumn
Colours Classic is sure to provide non-stop excitement throughout the
entire Outlaw Super Late Model field of competitors. With many teams yet
to claim their place amongst the 2006 Championship Point Standings, the
stakes have never been higher. The competition has been tight and
intense this season, and the right to claim your spot in the top ten
will be considered quite an accomplishment!

Fans won't want to miss this weekend's action at Peterborough Speedway!
Qualifying heats are set for Saturday, with the 50 lap feature event
scheduled for Sunday. So why not take a drive to Peterborough, catch the
fall colours and some amazing Outlaw Super Late Model racing action!

NASCAR BUSCH SERIES COMING TO CANADA

It was announced Monday, that NASCAR have agreed to add a NASCAR Busch
Series race at Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve August 4th 2007. NASCAR CEO
Brian France confirmed the date with local promoters at a news
conference. "It's a great setting, well-organized, and we're excited to
be here next August," said France. "Getting everything right on both
ends was difficult, but we got the right outcome." The Busch Series is
step below the top-ranked Nextel Cup series it will race on the
4.361-kilometre road track that plays host to the Canadian Grand Prix
Formula One event.

With all that said, Team JNE Consulting intends to field a car for this
event with the pending 2006 OSCAAR Outlaw Super Late Model with John
Fletcher in the driver's seat. The inaugural event will present a
stellar list of teams and drivers that may include fellow Canadians Ron
Fellows, Patrick Carpentier and Paul Tracy. "Our intention is to attempt
to qualify with some minor backing from our current list of sponsors,
but to take a real shot of qualifying for the event with strong
equipment it will take a primary sponsor to come on board" Team
Spokesman Bill Snowdon commented. "We have a base of a great program for
this we have been working towards this Busch Series race for a while and
have been active in the sponsor hunt".

Team JNE Consulting has been running primarily in the OSCAAR Series for
the past three years. With a run of 21st or better this Sunday team JNE
Consulting could lock in the championship.
