DaimlerChrysler Financial Services Americas Partners with Habitat for Humanity at Three Construction Sites in Detroit, and Oakland and Macomb Counties on Thursday, October 5, 2006

WHAT: DaimlerChrysler Financial Services Americas, the vehicle financing division of DaimlerChrysler, and Habitat for Humanity, the international partnership which recognizes the housing needs of low income families, will team up to work on three construction sites throughout Metro Detroit this Thursday, October 5.

WHO: Approximately 150 employees from DaimlerChrysler Financial Services Americas' Information Technology Management team and partner families designated by Habitat for Humanity.

WHEN: Thursday, October 5, 2006. Optimal time for video, photography and interviews is from 10 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

  WHERE:
  *  Oakland County site: 295 Central, Pontiac MI 48324 (near the
     intersection of Woodward and South Boulevard)
  *  Detroit site: 4201 Maryland Avenue, Detroit MI 48224 (near the
     intersection of Outer Drive East and Harper Ave and in the vicinity of
     I-94)
  *  Macomb County site: 17635 Oakdale Street, Roseville, MI 48066 (near the
     intersection of 10 Mile Road and Gratiot Avenue)

OTHER: Led by Vice President Jan Brecht, DaimlerChrysler Financial Services Americas employees will split up into teams of 50 to work at each job site. Because of the number of volunteers, Habitat for Humanity Oakland County worked with Habitat for Humanity organizations in Detroit and Macomb County to facilitate volunteer work in all three locations.
