Infineon Raceway Issues Pro Stock Motorcycle Challenge

to Maple Grove Raceway

SONOMA, Calif. (IMMEDIATE RELEASE) - Infineon Raceway and Maple Grove
Raceway feature the two fastest quarter-mile drag strips in the country
for the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series' Pro Stock Motorcycle class.

Steve Page, Infineon Raceway president and general manager, wants to
settle the score once and for all following this weekend's
record-setting Toyo Tires NHRA Nationals in Reading (Pa.).

Page has issued a formal challenge to Maple Grove Raceway vice president
and general manager George Case for the 2007 NHRA season. Whichever
facility can post the quickest elapsed time for a single run takes
bragging rights.

Page is willing to wager a case of premier Sonoma Valley wine; Infineon
Raceway serves as the gateway to the beautiful Sonoma Valley, home to
one of the top wine-producing regions in the world.

"There's fast and then there's really, really fast. Maple Grove is
fast, Infineon Raceway is, well....I look forward to hearing if they
accept the challenge and what they're willing to wager," Page said.

Prior to this past weekend at Maple Grove, Infineon Raceway held the
national record for elapsed time, set by Andrew Hines (2005, 6.968
seconds). Chip Ellis bettered that mark at Infineon Raceway in 2006 with
a 6.911 pass but was unable to back it up. Moreover, riders Antron Brown
and Tom Bradford entered the elite Mickey Thompson 6-Second Club at
Infineon Raceway in 2006. Finally, Infineon Raceway hosted the quickest
Pro Stock Motorcycle field in NHRA history in 2006.

It was Maple Grove's turn to shine this past weekend, with Angelle
Sampey re-setting the national elapsed-time record (6.939). Sampey also
joined Karen Stoffer, the event race-winner, and Shawn Gann, as the
final three members of the Mickey Thompson 6-Second Club. Maple Grove
also topped Infineon Raceway by re-setting the quickest Pro Stock
Motorcycle field in NHRA history.

The scene now shifts to the 2007 season, with Infineon Raceway hosting
the FRAM Autolite NHRA Nationals, July 27-29. Maple Grove's event, the
Toyo Tires NHRA Nationals, is set for Aug. 16-19. There have been 22
six-second runs in the history of the Pro Stock Motorcycle class, with
18 coming at Maple Grove (10) and Sonoma (eight).

"These are the two fastest Pro Stock Motorcycle drag strips
in the country and it's going to be fun to see how this plays out in
2007," said Sampey (U.S. Army), who has won at both tracks and holds the
record for career wins in the class with 40. "This will definitely add
some intrigue to both of these events and it's great for the Pro Stock
Motorcycle class."
