Infineon Raceway Named

'Business of the Year' in Sonoma Valley

SONOMA, Calif. (IMMEDIATE RELEASE) - Two North Bay organizations have
recognized Infineon Raceway in the last month for both its business
model and philanthropic efforts in the community.

The raceway was named "2006 Business of the Year" by the Sonoma Valley
Chamber of Commerce, and it was also chosen as one of the "24 Best
Places to Work" by the North Bay Business Journal.

The Sonoma Valley Chamber of Commerce selected the raceway from 12
nominees. The award was created six years ago to highlight how local
businesses contribute to the community, from both an economic and
charitable/community standpoint.

"Overall, the impact of the track is just incredible," said Doug
McKesson, mayor of Sonoma and past president of the Chamber of Commerce.
"It's a huge enterprise that employs a large number of people - from
entry-level trade jobs to high-end corporate management positions. When
you incorporate the track's financial impact and its positive community
involvement, it is such an incredible asset to this community."

Infineon Raceway hosts one of the most diverse motor sports schedules in
the country, including annual visits by the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series,
NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, Indy Racing League and the AMA
Superbike Series. In addition to 340 days of on-track activity each
year, the track is also home to more than 60 shops in its motor sports
industrial park. The industrial park includes the Jim Russell Racing
School and a variety of other race-related businesses. In all, the
raceway, racing school and tenant shops employ more than 450 people each
day.

Through its charitable arm, Speedway Children's Charities, the raceway
has distributed more than $1.2 million to qualified youth groups in
Sonoma County over the last three years, including a one-year record
$554,045 in 2005. Moreover, the raceway has generated nearly three tons
of food the last four years at its annual Thanksgiving Food Drive; the
raceway also hosts an annual Christmas Party for underprivileged
children in the Sonoma Valley.

"This is a wonderful tribute to our creative and hardworking staff at
the raceway. We are very honored," said Steve Page, president and
general manager of Infineon Raceway.

Infineon Raceway was also named one of the "24 Best Places to Work in
the North Bay" by the North Bay Business Journal. The 24 winners were
selected after employees from 90 nominated companies responded to an
anonymous online survey ranking their workplace on a variety of topics.

"Given the chance in an independent and anonymous forum in an online
survey, your employees chose you," said Brad Bollinger, North Bay
Business Journal editor. "And their voluntary comments were consistent
and inspirational."
