The Aquila Has Landed - in Texas

Fresh from taking London by storm at the London Motor Show where dealers and the general public were clamouring for a place on the order book, Aquila owner Milan Mladenovic has done a deal with a "prominent US sports car producer" to assemble and manufacture the retro styled signature Aquila Julietta in North America.
 
"I am repeatedly told that the Julietta has a strong appeal as it offers Morgan flair and performance at a vastly reduced price," said Milan Mladenovic recently "Dollar per mile per hour we are way ahead off Morgan. Why spend upwards of $60,000.00 on a new Moggy when you can have a new Aquila for about $20,000.00 less?!"
 
The first Aquila in North America is currently on view at the automotive showroom of American Driver Magazine in Addison Texas. Sample drives can be arranged, although this particular model is RHD unlike the US assembled versions.
 
People are already reporting that for sheer style, performance and pep, the Aquila is darned hard to beat. Journalists who have driven the Julietta in UK are impressed - now the US public and press can enjoy a rather rapid raptor.
