MOHNTON, Penn. (October 1, 2006) --Hillary Will, driver of the KB Racing
LLC-owned, Kalitta Motorsports-managed Top Fuel dragster advanced to the
second round before being turned back by teammate Doug Kalitta.

In the first round, for the third time in four meetings this season,
Will defeated Bob Vandergriff, Jr. Will recorded a 4.597-second pass,
while Vandergriff coasted to the finish line after losing traction and
smoking the big Goodyears.

In round two, Will was matched against POWERade Top Fuel point leader
Kalitta, also out of the Kalitta Motorsports camp.

Will was out by a whole bunch on her teammate at the green light but
then lost traction and could only watch as Kalitta took the win light
and advanced to the semifinals. Will's reaction time was .069 of a
second to a .190 for Kalitta, but Will saw her day come to an abrupt end
when she smoked the tires.

"After being consistent through qualifying this weekend and into the
first round today, it was a surprise when I lost traction against Doug
[Kalitta}," said Will. "I'm disappointed for my team as they always
work hard to give me a car that is capable of winning and they deserve
to be in the winner's circle. We plan to stay and test to get ready for
Richmond. We still feel that we are capable of winning races this
season and are continuing to work hard to do just that."

In the NHRA POWERade point battle in Top Fuel, the rookie driver moved
closer to the No. 8 spot in the standings. Will leaves Reading in the
No. 9 position but picked up points on Morgan Lucas, who lost in the
first round. She is now just 30 points behind Lucas in her bid to
overtake the No. 8 spot.

With only three races left on the 2006 NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series,
Will and her KB Racing LLC-owned, Kalitta Motorsports-managed team moves
straight to Virginia Motorsports Park, in Petersburg, Va., near
Richmond, for the NHRA Torco Nationals, October 6-8. The NHRA circuit
returns to Virginia Motorsports Park for the first time in five years.
The series previously raced here from 1995 to 2000.
