Mile Marker International Unveils New Winch Technology
POMPANO BEACH, Fla.--Mile Marker International, Inc. (OTCBB:MMRK), a specialty vehicle parts supplier, today announced the introduction of its revolutionary new winch line.
At the Annual Conference of the Performance Warehouse Association in Phoenix, Arizona, this week, Mile Marker International Inc. previewed its new high technology winch products for 2007 to be introduced at the industry’s annual Specialty Equipment Merchandising Association convention in Las Vegas in November. The Company’s China engineers have developed the first variable speed winch for off-road vehicles, combining the newest microcomputer and cellular technology. The Company’s research and development engineers have created a revolutionary winch line for which Mile Marker has filed 27 different patents, including mechanical, electronic and software. The most important of these inventions is the software for the microcomputer on the new M.O.S.F.E.T. control for the DC motors that operate these new winches.
Richard Aho, President and CEO of Mile Marker International, Inc., said: “In all my years of introducing new products, this is the first time I’ve ever received 100% positive feedback. All of our distributors immediately realized that we had leaped forward from the traditional electro-mechanical control of the 1960’s. This development brings Mile Marker winches into the 21st century and the forefront of the industry, as I first indicated at our Annual Shareholders Meeting in May.”
