TBC Announces Change in Management

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla., Sept. 27 -- Larry Day, Chairman and CEO of TBC Corporation, is pleased to announce that effective October 1, 2006, Tim Miller, Senior Vice President of Finance TBC Corporation, will be promoted to Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President.

Tim joined TBC Corporation in September of 2000 from First Tennessee Bank National Association. Miller's background includes more than 14 years of experience in finance, treasury, and banking. Miller is a graduate of Washington State University and earned his MBA from the Fogelman College of Business and Economics at the University of Memphis.

Tim has been a major contributor to TBC's growth and has excelled in all of his assignments with the company. Tim lives in Jupiter, Florida with his wife Kristen and daughters Sophie and Vivian.
