Kalbfell Out, Ronchi In as Head of Maserati

Washington DC September 26, 2006; The AIADA newsletter reported that Roberto Ronchi has replaced Karl-Heinz Kalbfell as the new head of Maserati, reports Automotive News.

Mr. Ronchi formerly served as head of fleet and dealer network development at Maserati's owner, Fiat.

Mr. Kalbfell is leaving to pursue "other interests" and was not fired, said a Fiat spokesman.

Recently, he said that Maserati will turn a profit in 2008, when it plans to sell 8,500 units.
