<b>Modine Manufacturing Announces the Award of New Business to Produce Components for DENSO</b>
RACINE, Wis.--Modine Manufacturing Company , a world leader in designing and developing heating and cooling solutions and DENSO Corporation, a leading global supplier of advanced automotive technology, systems and components, announced today the award of new business for Modine to provide radiators, parallel flow condensers, charge air coolers and power-steering oil coolers to support DENSO’s Thermal Systems business.
In commenting on this relationship, David B. Rayburn, Modine’s President and Chief Executive Officer said, “Modine is very honored to be considered as a supplier partner to DENSO. We understand how highly regarded DENSO's Thermal Systems capabilities are, and we’re pleased DENSO has considered Modine to support its engine cooling component design and development needs. In addition to this initial award, we are investigating other collaboration opportunities that should benefit both companies.”
This partnership will initially result in excess of $50 million sales per year to Modine starting in 2009. These program wins support Modine’s five year goal of four to six percent organic annual revenue growth. Including acquisitions, Modine’s five year revenue growth goal is 11 to 13 percent annually.
