Honeywell Demonstrates Groundbreaking Technologies in Air Safety, Fire Evacuation and Energy Efficient Transportation

MORRIS TOWNSHIP, New Jersey, September 26, 2006; Honeywell will hold its Technology Day exclusively for the media on October 4, 2006 in London. The event will include Honeywell's newest technologies featured in demonstrations designed to showcase real-world scenarios for participants. The demonstrations include:

- A flight in a private jet to showcase the newest in Honeywell's cockpit technologies, including its Synthetic Vision system which enhances pilots' situational awareness, and allows them the ability to fly the plane with limited or no visibility.

- A "smoke filled room evacuation," featuring Honeywell's ExitPoint(TM) directional sounder technology, which utilises broadband noise at all frequencies across the human hearing range to aid in escapes from low visibility conditions. The technology can reduce evacuation time by up to 75%.

- A turbocharged drive down the streets of London in six of Europe's best performing and energy-efficient turbo diesel vehicles, each featuring Honeywell's energy efficient and emissions reducing turbochargers.

- An interactive display showcasing Honeywell's technology portfolio across its Aerospace, Automation and Controls, Specialty Materials and Transportation Systems segments.

In addition, Honeywell product and technology experts will be on hand to provide insight on how Honeywell's technologies will impact personal and air safety, energy efficiency and security in the years ahead.
