Ghosn, Wagoner To Meet in Paris this Week

Washington DC September 25, 2006; The AIADA newsletter reported that Renault-Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn and General Motors Chief Executive Richard Wagoner plan to hold talks this week in Paris amid anticipation of a possible alliance, according to a report this morning by The Associated Press.

It was unclear whether the talks would occur before or after the opening of the Paris Motor Show, which begins Thursday with a media preview. Renault-Nissan and GM announced back in July a 90-day review of a possible alliance, and are expected to make a final decision by October 15.
