Will makes Top Fuel field on final qualifying run Qualifies No. 14
ENNIS, Texas. (September 23, 2006) -Hillary Will, driver of the KB Racing LLC-owned, Kalitta Motorsports-managed Top Fuel dragster, raced her way into the 16-car field for the 21st annual NHRA O'Reilly Fall Nationals in the fourth and final qualifying session today.

The 26-year-old Will, who grew up in Northern California and now calls Ypsilanti, Mich., home, qualified No. 14 with an elapsed time of 4.668 seconds at a speed of 317.57 mph on the quick and fast all-concrete quarter-mile at the Texas Motorplex in Ennis, Texas, just outside Dallas.

Will hopes this is a repeat of her previous experience several races ago. "This is the same thing that happened to the KB Racing team in Memphis," Will said. "There we didn't get in until the last pass, but on elimination day we were ready and advanced to my first Top Fuel final round. Hopefully, history can repeat itself here at the Motorplex. Only this time I want to take home my first Top Fuel Wally (trophy)."

In the opening round tomorrow, Will faces J.R. Todd, who qualified third with a pass of 4.541 seconds at 322.50 mph.

Will and her KB Racing LLC-owned, Kalitta Motorsports-managed Top Fuel team begin their quest for the NHRA O'Reilly Fall Nationals Top Fuel title tomorrow (Sunday, Sept. 24), with eliminations for all classes beginning at 11 a.m. Time is local Dallas time (CT) and subject to change at anytime.

ESPN2 will air same-day television coverage of eliminations for the 21st annual NHRA O'Reilly Fall Nationals from 7 until 10 p.m., Sunday (Sept. 24). The elimination show repeats early Thursday morning (Sept. 28) from 3-5 a.m. Also, tune in to NHRA2day on ESPN2, the weekly show that gives you the latest information about the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series.
