SECOND ON GRID AGAIN FOR TEAM BRUICHLADDICH RADICAL

Le Mans Endurance Series, Round 5, Jarama
Qualified: Overall 7th , LMP2 Class 2nd

Another second in class was a very pleasing result for the team in only the third event for the Team
Bruichladdich Radical SR9. Of the three events the car has competed in, the car qualified third on its
debut in Germany, second on home ground in the UK with another second here in Spain today. The

times had looked promising in the three one-hour practice sessions in Jarama with top three results
each time and the session to set grid position didn't disappoint. Qualifying itself took place this
afternoon at the Spanish circuit just 30km north of Madrid with Stuart Moseley taking to the wheel of
the Team Bruichladdich Radical SR9. Stuart picked his moment well and managed to find a place in
the traffic to get a clear run to set his time of 1:25.203 for the 2.4 mile circuit. Ahead of the team on
LMP2 pole position is the MG Lola just seven-tenths of a second faster.

Tim Greaves, Team Owner and Driver
"It's a great result. All the testing that we've done, both here and leading up to the race back in
England, has paid off. We're getting closer to the MG Lola. I'm looking forward to the race tomorrow.
It's going to be tough physically because of the tight and twisty circuit but we're prepared."

Stuart Moseley, Driver

"I got out there early in the session with some of the faster LMP1 cars which I think because of the
nature of the circuit was a good thing. At the start on the out-lap I dropped behind one of the 'P1s' and
figured that as he'd be faster it was a good way of securing a bit of space. It worked and I got a clear
run. Then I got caught behind a couple of cars but once I passed them I got another clear run and set
my fastest time. The changes that we made overnight improved things giving more traction out of
corners. We made another change at the end of the session today and that felt as though it will be
better for the race distance if not ultimately quicker - but we'll see."
