Networkcar Selected as Finalist in AeA High Tech Awards
SAN DIEGO, Sept. 21 -- Networkcar(R), a leader in wireless vehicle management, announced that it has been selected as a finalist for the AeA High Tech Awards in San Diego. Networkcar was chosen in the category Computers and Related Products. As the nation's largest high-tech industry association, the AeA recognizes local technology companies for their achievements in technological innovation, civic contributions and industry accomplishments.
Networkcar's(R) award winning Networkfleet wireless vehicle management system enables fleet managers to connect with every aspect of their vehicle operations. Networkfleet transmits both vehicle location and performance information directly from the vehicle. Fleet managers can locate vehicles in real-time, increasing response time and reducing operating costs. At the same time, Networkfleet's patented remote diagnostic capabilities notify fleet managers via email when a diagnostic problem occurs so they can fix vehicle problems early.
"Demand for Networkfleet continues to grow due to its demonstrated effect on lowering operating costs for fleets and its ease of use. Networkfleet is a universal solution that is easy to install, and works on any vehicle type," said Paul Washicko, president of Networkcar. "We appreciate being recognized by the AeA for our innovations and dedication to customer satisfaction."
For the 2006 High Tech Awards, more than 500 technology executives, including AeA members and nonmembers, will come together to acknowledge the successes of local technology companies from a diverse set of categories ranging from software, semiconductors, medical device and outstanding emerging growth. Winners will be announced at the upcoming 13th Annual AeA High Tech Awards event on October 12th, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at the Hilton Torrey Pines in La Jolla.
