MicroCars, Ltd. Receives Request from Sri Lankan Air Force for Vehicles; Centrex, Inc. Asked to Support Financing Efforts

SAN DIEGO--Sept. 21, 2006--Centrex, Inc. (Pink Sheets:CTXI) today announced that with MicroCars, Ltd., a Sri Lankan company, has received a request from the Air Force of Sri Lanka to provide servicemen with the opportunity to acquire Micro Car vehicles through a specially financed package. The Sri Lanka Air Force projects sales to its service members would be as high as 50 units per month once the package is completed.

Centrex recently signed an agreement to represent the MicroCars manufacturing system to other nations seeking to establish a locally run and operated car assembly company. The agreement with MicroCars also gives Centrex an option to acquire up to 40% interest in MicroCars. Centrex has been asked to help support MicroCars' fulfillment of this request from the Sri Lankan Air Force by looking into possible financing arrangements through US entities.

Stated Jeffrey Flannery, CEO of Centrex, Inc. "This arrangement with the Sri Lankan Air Force is a clear indication of the government's recognition of the quality of the MicroCar's vehicles as well as a dedication by the government to support its only local automobile assembly operation. Our role will be to help structure the financing for this program as well as possibly bring in some outside financial support. This type of program also creates a model program that can be replicated in other countries and helps further establish the international marketing program for MicroCars."

Established in 1995, MicroCars, Ltd. is the only automobile manufacturer in Sri Lanka, featuring a line that includes a sedan, a coupe, a minivan and a four wheel drive pickup truck. Created by Dr. Lawrence Perera, previously an executive engineer at Volkswagen in Wolfsburg, Germany, MicroCars offers a cost effective system for assembling quality cars using local labor and available local materials.
