No. 10 Ford Power Stroke Diesel by International / Terry Cook

Las Vegas 350 / Las Vegas Motor Speedway - Saturday, Sept. 23, 2006

STORY LINES LEADING INTO LAS VEGAS:

~ A Winning Truck Comes to Las Vegas: The No. 10 Ford Power Stroke
Diesel by International race team is bringing its winning truck to Las Vegas
Motor Speedway. Truck No. 10-11 won at Kansas Speedway on July 1, 2006,
the first-career win for ppc Racing

~ Pennsylvania Police Officers on Team: Bill Cahill and Marty Brice
have full-time jobs as a sergeant with the Westtown-East Goshin Regional and
Coatesville (Pa.) Police Departments, respectively. On the weekends,
however, both Cahill and Brice use their time by working on the No. 10 Ford
Power Stroke Diesel by International race team. Cahill was part of a team
called to Ground Zero on September 11, 2001

~ Breaking the Barriers for Women: Nicole Addison is leading the way
for women to enter NASCAR with aspirations to serve as over-the-wall crew
members. Addison is the rear tire changer for the No. 10 Ford Power Stroke
Diesel by International race team and is the only female over-the-wall crew
member in NASCAR's top-three series. This is her second full-time year in
the NCTS

~ "Professor Cook" Teaches Rookies: Before every race weekend, the
NCTS holds a rookie drivers meeting prior to the first practice session with
Terry Cook as the professor. Cook teaches the rookies everything from the
racing line to avoiding trouble in the corners. On a typical race weekend,
there are more than 10 Raybestos Rookie-of-the-Year contenders attempting to
qualify for the next race. Class has been in session since February

~ Veteran Spotter Leads Team: Every position on a race team is very
important and there is no exception to the team's spotter. For Tony
Hirschman III, he is one of the best in the business. Hirschman III began
spotting for his father, Tony Sr. in 1996 in the NASCAR Whelen Modifieds.
Hirschman spotted for IRL teams from 1999-2003 and most recently in the
NASCAR Busch Series (NBS) before joining the No. 10 Ford Power Stroke Diesel
by International race team this year

COOK ON THE RECONFIGURATION:

"You know obviously when Burton Smith and his group does something, they do
it they do it first class. There's been a lot of effort put into
reconfiguring the race track. The Craftsman Truck Series race for some
reason has always been really, really good at Las Vegas. The Cup or the
Busch races have been more single-file racing and I think that's what has
led them to reconfiguring the track. The Craftsman Truck Series, the trucks
draft up behind each other so well and the fact that it's a night race and
the track has decent grip at night just provides good racing. We expect a
lot of the same with the new track but maybe that much more side-by-side
racing that what we've seen and we've seen a lot with the trucks there. The
track is going to be extremely fast, a lot faster than it was before with
the increased banking. The fans will get a little bit better perspective
with pit road being moved closer to the frontstretch. All in all, we're
just looking forward to getting out there and getting going. We're taking
the same truck that we've run really well with this year. We're looking for
a lot of the same good results that we've had with it earlier this season."
