Strategies to Partner with Insurance Advisors at the Aftermarket Financial Symposium

BETHESDA, MD - Sept. 20, 2006 - Universal Underwriters Group's David Willett will teach attendees how to "Realize Success Through Your Insurance Partner" during the 2006 Aftermarket Financial Symposium (AFS). Hosted by the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA), the 2006 AFS is scheduled for Sept. 26-27 at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare in Chicago, Ill.

Willett is vice president and general manager of the eastern division of Universal Underwriters' Automotive Specialty Markets (ASM) strategic business unit (SBU). With 22 years of experience in the insurance industry, Willett currently manages seven regional offices, 66 field employees, six underwriters and $110,000,000 in premium dollars.

The presentation will explore how attendees can partner with their insurance advisor to help ensure business success. Willett will share strategies to assist a business owner in comprehensive business protection, including displaying knowledge of the automotive aftermarket, providing world-class products and services, offering training assistance in the areas of business management, employment-related practices and loss prevention, implementing innovative employee programs and educating the decision-makers on key insurance industry trends.

AFS is geared toward CEOs, CFOs, financial service providers, investment analysts, CPA firms and others with interests in the automotive aftermarket. As an added benefit to attendees, the 2006 AFS has been authorized to offer 12 continuing professional education (CPE) credit hours for financial professionals that participate in both days of the symposium. For more information on AFS or to register, visit www.aftermarket.org, or contact Susan Medick, CFO, AAIA, at 301-654-6664 or e-mail susan.medick@aftermarket.org.
