21st ANNUAL NHRA O"REILLY FALL NATIONALS
TEXAS MOTORPLEX -- DALLAS
SEPTEMBER 21-24, 2006

Line's pursuit of point championship moves to Dallas*

ENNIS, Texas. (September 19, 2006) -- Jason Line, driver of one of the
two KB Racing LLC-owned, Summit Racing Equipment-backed Pontiac GTOs,
resumes his pursuit of his first NHRA Pro Stock POWERade championship at
the 21st annual NHRA O'Reilly Fall Nationals after relentless rains
forced the postponement of the NHRA Toyo Tires Nationals this past
weekend in Reading, Penn.

Coming into the O'Reilly Fall Nationals, Line leads the Pro Stock point
standing by 59 points over teammate Greg Anderson, who holds the second
position, and by 135 points over third place Dave Connolly. Kurt
Johnson is in fourth, 296 points back and Allen Johnson (no relation to
Kurt) rounds out the top five, 314 points behind first.

Following the rain out in Reading, Line had the following thoughts as he
headed to Dallas: "While I would like to say that I'm completely
comfortable with my chance of winning the championship, I know I won't
be completely comfortable until it's over. Call it pressure or call
it what you want but there are still two drivers out there, my teammate
(Greg Anderson) and Dave Connolly, besides me, who have a chance to win
this thing and a few others who can have a say in the outcome. But, I
continue to feel that I can win the championship. The Reading deal
only makes it longer before we get to the end of the season to find out."

Of two visits (2004 and 2005) to the quick and fast all-concrete
quarter-mile at the Texas Motorplex in Ennis, Texas, just outside
Dallas, Line's best outing was last year when he qualified number two
and finished runner-up to Anderson.

Qualifying for Line and his KB Racing LLC/Summit Racing Equipment Pro
Stock Pontiac GTO begins with two Pro Stock sessions on Friday, Sept.
22, scheduled for 4 and 7 p.m. and concludes with two additional Pro
Stock sessions on Saturday, Sept. 23, at 12 noon and 3 p.m. Line begins
his quest for the O'Reilly Fall Nationals Pro Stock title on Sunday,
Sept. 24, with eliminations for all classes beginning at 11 a.m. *All
times are local Dallas time (CT) and subject to change at anytime. *
