TROY, MI - September. 19, 2006: Today, the North American International Show (NAIAS), one of the world's premier automotive events, launched an all new website and free, 100th Anniversary commemorative, downloadable screensaver. Featuring a fresh design and more content, the revamped site is geared to assist NAIAS enthusiasts, media and exhibitors in finding updated information on the upcoming NAIAS 2007.

"We are very excited to offer this special commemorative screensaver, as well as a newly redesigned website," said Bob Thibodeau Jr., NAIAS 2007 senior co-chairman. "The NAIAS and its predecessor, the Detroit Auto Show, have a long and rich history in the metro Detroit region and we're looking forward to celebrating that in 2007."

Available for download at http://www.naias.com/, the NAIAS 100th Anniversary screensaver features rare, historical snapshots of the auto show, as well as photos of the many exciting production and concept vehicles debuted at the show.

In addition, http://www.naias.com/ includes information on Press Preview and Industry Preview, tickets for Public Days and the Charity Preview, as well as current news on show preparations. To serve NAIAS visitors, the site features a wide variety of travel resources and a list of local attractions. In an effort to aid media attending the show, credential applications will be available to download from the site beginning Nov. 1.

100th Anniversary

In 2007, The Detroit Auto Dealers Association (DADA) will celebrate 100 years of sponsorship of the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS)/Detroit Auto Show. Since its inception in 1907, the show has grown from a regional event featuring 17 exhibitors to an internationally-sanctioned show with over 90 exhibitors, adding more than $600 million to the metro Detroit region last year alone. With the support of the DADA, the NAIAS features more new vehicle debuts and garners more media coverage than any show in North America.
