Tony Leis Salem Advance

Tony Leis Pumped Up for Salem

For Immediate Release

(9/14/06 - Mooresville, NC) - If you would have told Wisconsin native Tony
Leis a few months ago that he would be racing at Salem Speedway in the ARCA
RE/MAX Series under the direction of veteran crew chief and team owner Bob
Schacht he would have told you that he just works there, at Bob Schacht
Motorsports. However, this weekend for the second time in his young ARCA RE/MAX Series
career, the first being just a few weeks ago at the Milwaukee Mile, Leis
will once again be at the wheel of the Bob Schacht Motorsports entry for the
Eddie Gilstrap Motors ARCA Fall Classic.

"I'm so excited for this Salem race, says Leis, I'm not sleeping or eating
well. I've heard so much about Salem from Bob (Schacht) and I've been getting
some input from Johnny Sauter on driving the track itself. I can't wait to get
on the track at Salem I know it's going to be a great opportunity and I'm
really looking forward to it." Leis added, "My Mom and Dad are coming from
Wisconsin for the race and I really wouldn't have this chance without their
support and the support of all of my friends and family."

Leis is no stranger to the short tracks, he's been competing on the short
tracks in the North Carolina area and honed his skills on the short tracks back
in Wisconsin before making the move to North Carolina where he currently
resides.

With one ARCA RE/MAX Series start to his credit at the Milwaukee Mile, Tony
finished in the 6th position, mixing it up with some of the biggest names in
the series.

"Tony did us a really good job at Milwaukee, said Schacht, he showed a lot
of patience and talent, I don't look for things to be any different this
weekend. Salem takes a little more diver input, just for the fact that it is a
short track, but Tony's a good kid and he'll handle it just fine."

The Bob Schacht Motorsports Team and driver Tony Leis will be at the Salem
Speedway in southern Indiana on Saturday, September 16 for the 200 lap, Eddie
Gilstrap Motors ARCA Fall Classic by Advance Auto Parts. The event is a one
day show with practice set for 1:05 to 2:35 PM, Pork Pole Qualifying is set to
go at 4:00 PM with the green set to wave on the ARCA RE/MAX Series field at
7:15 PM. The drivers will participate in an on-track autograph session from
4:45 to 5:15 PM.
