Bowsher Set to Make 150th Career ARCA RE/MAX Series Start at Salem For Immediate Release (9/14/06 - Springfield, OH) - Todd Bowsher, driver of the familiar #21, Jack Bowsher & Associates Motorsports Ford in the ARCA RE/MAX Series is slated to make his 150th career start this Saturday on the . 5 mile high banks of the Salem Speedway in southern Indiana. Bowsher, the son of legendary driver and car owner, Jack Bowsher began competing on a full-time basis in the ARCA RE/MAX Series in 2001, where he finished 6th in the driver point standings. Todd and the #21 have been a mainstay in the series ever since, following in the path of his father Jack, who passed away earlier this year. "Wow, said Bowsher, 150 starts, that's pretty amazing, I didn't even really realize it, it just seems like it hasn't been that long, but then at other times it seems like I've been here in ARCA forever." Bowsher added, "I guess when you stop and look back I have been here most of my life, either driving or crewing for my family." The Bowsher family is no outsider when it comes to the Salem Speedway, patriarch Jack Bowsher as a driver on 6 consecutive visits to the Salem Speedway turned out 6 victories and 3 poles. Although Todd has never had a victory on the high banks of Salem he has produced strong qualifying runs and top-5 finishes. Gordon Food Service / GFS Marketplace will move to the position of primary sponsor for the Eddie Gilstrap Motors Fall Classic this weekend, with Safe Auto Insurance taking on the role of associate sponsor. The Eddie Gilstrap Motors Fall Classic by Advance Auto Parts at the Salem Speedway is a scheduled single day event. Todd and the Jack Bowsher & Associates Motorsports team will be there on Saturday for a practice session from 1:05 - 2:35 PM, with Pork Pole Qualifying at 4:00 PM.
