Sunoco Ron Fellows Karting Championship drivers excited about final weekend
Class champions and Evaluation Day picks to be decided this weekend
TORONTO, ONTARIO The Sunoco Ron Fellows Karting Championship presented by
Toronto Star Wheels will hold its season finale at Goodwood Kartways
(www.goodwoodkartways.com) this weekend. On the line are class
championships and the honour of being chosen to attend the Sunoco Ron
Fellows Karting Championship presented by Toronto Star Wheels Evaluation
Day at the Bridgestone Racing Academy.
With the event this weekend, the Sunoco Ron Fellows Karting Championship
will have completed five successful years of competition. Like years past,
many of the class champions are yet to be decided.
Stouffville's Mike Vincec is in the running for two class championships.
"I'm looking forward to the final race at Goodwood" offered Mike. "It's
been my home track since I started karting and it would be great to end the
season there with a win."
Friday, September 15th is a practice day for all classes. Saturday,
September 16th will start with qualifying in the morning and the racing
will start at 3:00 pm. Champions will be crowned in Rotax Max Senior,
Canada Junior Heavy, F1-K Cadet, World Formula Junior, Canada Senior and
F1-K Junior. Sunday's action will have the same time schedule, and the
headline Formula Senior finale will kick off the racing at 3:00 pm. Formula
Senior will be followed by Canada Junior Light, F1-K Senior, Rotax Max
Junior and rounding out the day will be World Formula Senior.
After the racing and podium ceremonies are completed on Sunday, 10 lucky
drivers will be chosen to head to the SRFKC Evaluation Day.

The objective of the SRFKC is to help foster a professional environment for
kart drivers; help create a positive attitude towards appearance, conduct
and discipline; help foster the employment of the best practices for the
safe and fair running of competitions; and help kart drivers to move up the
racing ladder to automobile racing.
