Nissan Enters into Agreement for Sale of Former LA Headquarters

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--Sept. 13, 2006--Nissan North America, Inc. has entered into an agreement for the sale of the property that previously served as its headquarters.

Nissan accepted the terms of an offer made by Kearny Real Estate Co. of Los Angeles for the purchase of the 41.73 acres of land and its buildings which are located in Carson and Los Angeles, CA.

The terms of the transaction, which is expected to close within 60 days, are confidential. Nissan expects to retain occupancy through the end of January for decommissioning the property.

Nissan retained Los Angeles real estate firm CB Richard Ellis to market the property through a managed bid process, which began May 25, 2006. Nissan North America's headquarters occupied this campus, located at 190th St. and S. Figueroa Ave. and bounded by the I-405 and I-110 freeways, since the 1960s.
