MANHEIM, NAFA TO HOST NATIONAL FLEET SYMPOSIUM
ATLANTA - Manheim and the Atlanta chapter of the National Association of
Fleet Administrators, Inc., (NAFA) will host the second Fleet Industry
Symposium on Sept. 19 - 21 at the Manheim DRIVE Center near Atlanta.
"The Atlanta Chapter of NAFA is very excited to team up with the Manheim
DRIVE Center again this year to hold the Annual Fleet Industry
Symposium," added Patsy Brownson, fleet director for Cox Enterprises,
Inc., and NAFA Atlanta Chapter program chair. "We strive to bring all
the industry players together to have vibrant, thought provoking
sessions where everyone involved comes away with solutions to some of
today's fleet issues."
The event will include intensive sessions designed to help fleet
managers better understand the entire remarketing process, including
channel selection, performance benchmarking, accountability and process
improvement/optimization. Breakout sessions will provide insight on
current fleet topics such as the use of guidebooks, the value of
reconditioning and projected residual values.
"With events like the NAFA Fleet Industry Symposium, the Manheim DRIVE
Center is fulfilling its mission as a think tank for the entire
remarketing industry," said Donald Foy, executive director of Manheim
DRIVE. "The DRIVE Center is not just about auctions or technology, it's
about creating a place where remarketers can gather to identify and
analyze industry trends and develop innovative strategies for the
future. Our partners who are participating in the NAFA Symposium later
this month will certainly contribute to the professional development of
all fleet administrators."
Among the speakers, panel participants and moderators for the event are
representatives from companies such as Automotive Resources
International, EMKAY, Donlen Corporation, Emercent Solutions, GE
Remarketing, LeasePlan, Manheim, Online Vehicle Exchange, PHH Arval and
