EARLVILLE, Iowa. - The rain that was suppose to come on Saturday showed up on Sunday forcing NHRA and Tri-State Raceway officials to cancel today's racing activities for the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series.

With Monday's forecast also calling for rain showers throughout the day, the event has been re-scheduled for Friday and Saturday, September 29-30. Parking for racers will begin Friday morning with time runs for all categories scheduled for Friday followed by the reminder of eliminations on Saturday. All fields are set and qualifying is complete as Stock Eliminator, Super Comp, and Super Gas all ran round one of eliminations yesterday (Saturday) afternoon.
