G&R Racing's Cadiente and Whitton Prepared to Rally at SCORE Primm 300 

 

Mesa, Arizona (September 5, 2006) - SCORE rookie sensation, Garron Cadiente,
was randomly selected to start in the lead position off the line of the
sensational SCORE Primm 300 off road desert race.  Cadiente said, ""I'm
ecstatic about drawing first off the line.  If we can run clean in the
rocks, we'll have a good opportunity to reach the podium."

 

Coming off a great race effort at the BITD Vegas to Reno race two weeks ago,
Cadiente's #38 truck has been prepped for an exceptional charge Saturday
afternoon.  "Crossing the finish line first, but finishing second on time to
Larry Ragland/Brian Collins at the Vegas to Reno race two weeks ago was
disappointing, but that experience will do nothing but push us harder in
search of victory at the Primm race," explained Cadiente.

 

Set in Southern Nevada near the border that splits the states of Nevada and
California, the SCORE Primm 300 has been regarded as one of the toughest
race courses in the SCORE Desert Series.  Tight course conditions amid the
harsh Nevada desert make passing very difficult and with Cadiente drawing
first position off the line, he'll have the opportunity to run in clean air
for the first half of the race. 

 

G&R Racing's Ron Whitton is slated for duty driving the #39 trophy truck and
beginning in 24th position off the line.  Whitton drove his #39 Geiser-built
truck to a 6th place finish only two weeks ago in a large field of the
nation's top off road desert racers.

 

G&R Racing will host a hospitality tent at the main pits for sponsors,
friends and family.  Additionally, IONEarth will broadcast the position of
the G&R Racing race trucks as they battle against the best teams in the off
road nation.   

 

Racing on BFGoodrich Baja T/A KR tires, G&R Racing is excited to announce
they will represent the BFGoodrich brand at the largest off road show of the
season, Advanstar's Off-Road Expo.  Held at FAIRPLEX Pomona on October
7-8th, 2006, Advanstar Communications has announced this year's show will be
bigger and better than it ever has before.  In coordination with BFGoodrich,
G&R Racing will present the #38 Trophy Truck and SCORE rookie, Garron
Cadiente, will sign autographs for his fans at the BFGoodrich booth.
