Media Advisory: GM's Wagoner to Announce Major Consumer Initiative

DETROIT, Sept. 6 -- General Motors Chairman and CEO Rick Wagoner will announce a major consumer initiative at a news conference on Wednesday, Sept. 6, at 1 p.m. EDT at the GM Renaissance Center. A news release will be issued at 12:50 p.m. EDT, and will be available on GM Media Online (media.gm.com). The release and additional media materials also will be distributed at the news conference.

The news conference will take place in the River Walk area outside the GM Renaissance Center's Wintergarden. In case of rain, journalists will be directed to an alternate location inside the Renaissance Center. The news conference also can be accessed by teleconference and satellite feed.
