Wireless Giant, Abt Electronics and Tweeter Choose Parrot Car Kit Line; Top Retailers Recognize Parrot Technology and Performance

AUSTIN, Texas--Sept. 5, 2006--Three of the nation's top consumer electronics retailers have chosen to carry Bluetooth(R) hands-free car kits from Parrot, one of the world's leading innovators in Bluetooth technology. They include Wireless Giant, Abt Electronics and Tweeter Home Entertainment Group, Inc.

"These three outstanding retailers will help Parrot rapidly expand our coverage across the U.S. to give consumers easier access to our Bluetooth hands-free cellphone capability which many states and cities are now requiring," said Edward Valdez, president and chief operating officer of Parrot, Inc. "Parrot provides more innovative plug-and-play and professionally installed car kits than any other manufacturer in the world so consumers have more choices to help them keep their eyes on the road and hands on the wheel."

Michigan-based Wireless Giant, with 95 stores in the Midwest, Southeast and West, is moving into the wireless Bluetooth space and is basing its expansion in this technology on the Parrot product line. Initially, Wireless Giant will carry the full Parrot car kit line of both plug-and-play and professionally installed units but plans to add Parrot's non-automotive products like the Parrot PHOTO VIEWER as well. Car kit installation will be handled by InstallerNet which provides concierge installation services for retailers through its network of 1,500 professional installers across the U.S.

Abt Electronics in suburban Chicago is the nation's largest single-store consumer electronics and appliance retailer. The company has an impressive mobile electronics department and provides expert installation services onsite. Abt is carrying the Parrot CK3000, CK3100 and 3200 LS-COLOR.

Boston-based Tweeter has more than 150 consumer electronics stores reaching from New England to southern California. Tweeter also will start with the Parrot 12-volt line of professionally installed car kits and provides in-house professional installation services. Tweeter plans to showcase the Parrot CK3000, CK3100 and 3200 LS-Color hands-free car kits on displays in each of its stores.

The Parrot car kit line includes the plug-and-play EASY-DRIVE car kit and the new DRIVER HEADSET that comes with its own charging cradle. Parrot professionally installed units include the Parrot CK3000 EVOLUTION (with its discrete keypad); CK3100 (with LCD); Parrot 3200 LS-COLOR (with color TFT-LCD for Photo Caller ID); Parrot 3300-GPS (with GPS antenna); Parrot 3400 LS-GPS (with GPS antenna and color TFT-LCD for Photo Caller ID); and Parrot RHYTHM N' BLUE (AM/FM/CD/MP3 auto stereo receiver with integrated Bluetooth hands-free calling features equivalent to the CK3100).

All of Parrot's car kits allow drivers to make calls, take calls and check voicemail without ever having to touch their cell phone while driving thanks to Parrot's advanced voice recognition technology.

Parrot also recently introduced the Parrot PHOTO VIEWER which stores and displays more than 100 photographs that can be transferred wirelessly via Bluetooth from cell phones and laptops; and the wireless Parrot SOUND SYSTEM that plays music streamed from MP3 players, laptops and smartphones which support Bluetooth version 2.0 and the Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP). The company will introduce several more new products in the third and fourth quarters leading up to the Consumer Electronics Show in January, 2007.
