Motion Industries Announces the Acquisition of Ruston Industrial and Hydraulic Depot

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.--Sept. 5, 2006--Motion Industries, Inc., a leading distributor of industrial maintenance, repair, and operation (MRO) replacement parts, announced today that effective September 1, 2006 the company completed acquisition of Ruston Industrial, headquartered in Ruston, La., and Hydraulic Depot in West Monroe, La. Ruston Industrial sells bearings, mechanical power transmission, fluid power products, and industrial products. Ruston Industrial has a total of five locations: Ruston, La.; Pine Bluff, Ark.; McComb, Miss.; Alexandria, La.; and Creola, Ala. Hydraulic Depot has a single location in West Monroe, La., and their primary business is hydraulic repair and hydraulic product sales.
