Vision Racing Launches NASCAR Busch Series Program;
Prepares For Richmond Debut
TULSA, Oklahoma (September 5, 2006) - - Adrian Berryhill, owner and founder
of Vision Racing announced today the advancement of his ARCA RE/MAX Series
program to begin competition in the NASCAR Busch Series beginning with this
Friday’s Emerson Radio 250 from Richmond International Raceway.
In addition to competing at Richmond International Raceway (RIR), Vision
Racing will also compete in two more NASCAR Busch Series events at Kansas
Speedway (September) followed by Texas Motor Speedway (November). The team will
utilize the three events to prepare for a more intense NASCAR Busch Series
schedule in 2007.
Berryhill also announced the signing of ARCA RE/MAX Series driver Josh Krug
to pilot his Chevrolet Monte Carlo at RIR. Krug, an avid late model
competitor has collected two top-ten finishes in five ARCA RE/MAX Series races this
year. Berryhill is very confident in the 20 year old capabilities and is
excited to have him aboard Vision Racing.
“The entire Vision Racing team is thrilled to have a caliber driver like
Josh Krug,?? stated Berryhill. “He has proven himself in the ARCA RE/MAX Series
and we’re looking forward to blooming him in the NASCAR Busch Series. We are
very excited about our transition and feel that Josh is the right choice.??
Krug’s father Pat Krug has been instrumental in the development of Vision
Racing and his son. “Pat Krug has been and will continue to be a great lateral
support between Vision Racing and Josh as he continues to develop team
contacts and business relations.??
Guiding Vision Racing and rookie Krug will be veteran NASCAR crew chief
Billy Wilburn. With former tenures with Rusty Wallace and David Gilliland,
Berryhill couldn’t have picked a better person to jump start his organization.
Wilburn was responsible for guiding now NASCAR Nextel Cup Series driver David
Gilliland to his only NASCAR Busch Series victory at Kentucky Speedway earlier
this year with Clay Andrews Racing.
“Billy really completes our NASCAR Busch Series team,?? continued Berryhill,
who has spent the last two seasons as an owner in the ARCA RE/MAX Series. “
Billy’s work ethics and veteran experience propelled David (Gilliland) to
triumph and we feel he can do the same with Vision Racing. We are very proud and
honored to have him onboard and we are looking forward to working with him
for many years to come.??
The team has acquired Chevrolet Monte Carlos from Michael Waltrip Racing and
Doug Stringer, who is currently partnered with Todd Braun of Braun Racing. “
We have a great fleet of cars,?? continued Berryhill. “They are race winning
cars. Pro Motor Engineering (pme) will supply the motor for us at Richmond
and we’re looking forward to making a positive debut in the NBS.??
Backing the team’s primary effort is _Americash Advance.com_
(http://www.americashadvance.com/) . Americash Advance. com is a leader in the small loan cash
advance industry that provides loans to consumers through direct deposit
into the consumers bank account within one business day all from the comfort of
their home or office. It is a great service to consumers who are in the need
for quick cash up to $1500. The funds can literally be sent to the
consumers account within 30 minutes of making the application with Americash
Advance.com. This could be real handy for the race fan that has spent all their cash
at the races over the weekend. Meeks Lithograph is excited about the
additional exposure for the printing giant that has accounts such as Arbys, Hilti
and Quiktrip.
“Americash Advance has been with Vision Racing since their inception and we’
re looking forward to having them involved with our Busch Series program,??
Berryhill added. “We’re looking forward to running strong right out of the
box and providing them with the exposure they deserve.??
In addition, Johnson Hardware has leaped from Krug’s ARCA program to aid him
in the development of his career. “We’re glad and welcome Josh’s sponsors
aboard. I think it’s great and influential to have sponsors follow their
drivers they believe in and we’re hoping they enjoy the move to the NASCAR Busch
Series,?? Berryhill explained.
With no security into the starting field at Richmond, Berryhill knows the
pressure will be on to perform. “Richmond is a big test for us, we’re hoping to
do well. We would like to qualify for the race and bring home a clean
finish, we will reach our goals if we are able to do that.??
“We know that the NASCAR Busch Series will be a challenge, but we are
looking forward to it. Vision Racing is prepared to use this year’s limited
schedule as a test session to build our rookie team into a successful and winning
operation. We’re looking forward to a full NASCAR Busch Series schedule in
2007.??
