PARIS - September 4, 2006: With production totalling more than 500,000 cars since the model's launch in 1999, Clio threebox – which is sold in 64 countries and known as Thalia, Symbol or Clio Classic depending on the market – has proven to be a genuine success story.
To continue on this momentum, Renault will launch a new evolution of the model in September 2006.

Thanks to its even more attractive line-up, its affordable price tag and its unique quality of travelling comfort and finish, New Clio three-box has plenty of arguments in favour of its continued success, not only in Europe but also in growing markets where it faces increasingly fierce competition.
New Clio three-box will be distributed notably in central and eastern Europe and in France's overseas departments, as well as in Greece, Russia, Turkey, the Maghreb countries, the Gulf States and in certain South and Central American countries.
