Keselowski finishes 37th in Busch Series debut
Fontana, Calif. – Brad Keselowski made an impressive debut on the NASCAR Busch Series on Saturday, finishing 37th in the Ameriquest 300 at California Speedway.
Keselowski started the race in 32nd position and drove like a veteran in the #23 LoveFiFi.com Chevrolet while piloting the car around the two-mile oval.
“Brad ran a good race,” said crew chief Ronnie Griffin. “Once we made all of our adjustments he was turning some real fast laps but we got stuck in a bad track position and just couldn’t make up the ground.”
The race was won by Kasey Kahne who turned an aggressive pit stop strategy into a trip to victory lane. Keselowski ended three laps off the pace after a green flag pit stop cost him valuable track position in the final laps.
Next up for Keselowski and the rest of the #23 team is the Emerson Radio 250 at Richmond International Raceway on Friday.
