K&K Insurance Completes Purchase of NARI Business

Expertise of two motorsports insurance giants combines to benefit the racing industry

FORT WAYNE, Ind., Sept. 1 -- K&K Insurance Group, Inc. announced today the completion of its acquisition of all motorsports insurance accounts currently controlled by NARI Agency, LLC of Independence, Missouri. As a result of the acquisition, K&K will immediately begin servicing NARI clients.

K&K Insurance has long been known as the pioneer in the motorsports insurance industry and owner of the historic #71 K&K Dodge Daytona race car, driven by Bobby Isaac, which won the 1970 Grand National Championship. NARI was organized in 1984 to provide insurance products to motorsport clients on a national basis and currently services accounts in 46 states. The acquisition brings together two of the industry's most experienced and respected motorsports insurance providers and will ultimately benefit the racing industry.

This week the company will begin executing the planned integration of the two companies' business operations to ensure a smooth transition and immediate value for clients. As part of the initial integration of accounts, former NARI employees Sheldon England and David Laber will now be employed by K&K Insurance Group.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
