Porsche Cars North America Reports August Sales for Canada; Sports Car Sales Remain Strong

August sales were essentially on par with last year's figure of 159.
Through the first eight months of 2006, the Porsche brand sales in Canada are 1,399 versus last year's total of 1,464.
In August, Porsche sports cars sales in Canada recorded strong sales increases. During the month, Porsche sold 34 percent more 911 models and the Boxster/Cayman series increased by 47 percent.
In addition, dealers sold 34 Porsche Approved Certified Pre-Owned vehicles in August.
